Greetings AVS Forum users!

I am wondering if anybody knows if Panasonic is going to update its PT AE4000U model as it has been already over a year old.

What I heard is that they want to stay in home theater projector battle and are working on new projector which might be introduced on 2011 International CES, January 6-9...do you know anything about it?

panny 4000 in my opinion is a projector ahead of its time...just curious what new features and specifications updated model might have...hopefully in affordable price range for most of us

There are NO features or specs available on a model that may only be on the drawing board, nothing has been released.

I'm hoping Panasonic will be releasing a 3D projector in 2011. Panasonic is a big supporter of 3D so I think it'll release something very competitive with the AE4000 feature wise but with 3D. Give it a similar price and I'll take a serious look. Same goes for Epson.
