I now have a benq w6000 and an 138" 2:35 screen. I have a throw of 14 feet. To get the 16:9 image on my anamorphic screen the projector image is zoomed out (110" 16:9 image with black bars on either side). If I get an anamorphic lens for this projector, would the pincushion effect be too great or do you think it would work? Thanks in advance for the help

You're looking at a throw of 1.6 based on that information, so depending on the lens that you use, you may or may not be able to make that work with the W6000's recessed lens.

As for pincushion, it's easy to mask off with a black felt border, and it's not noticeable on real-world material, only test patterns.

Thanks for the reply. Would a home theater brothers lens work?

I'm not familiar with the aperture dimensions of the HTB lens, you might want to do some research in the HTB thread as to what kind of throws it can support.
