Ive tried to ask this a few times in a few different threads. But, is PowerDVD the ONLY DS filter capable of hardware acceleration for apple 1080p mov? I keep hearing about "CORE Pro" but doesn't offer hardware acceleration.

Thanks,

I was hoping someone who knew something would chime in....

Yes, AFAIK the PowerDVD H.264 decoder is the only one offering H.264 acceleration at the moment.

I've also heard rumors that a future version of CoreAVC Pro would offer acceleration.

Hey stanger89, I think you already know why I'm asking
(the movietimes plugin for sageTV). I can only achieve full framerate at 720p. However, I have a 1080p capable display.

Whooohoo! I've got full-framerate 1080p movie trailers in SageTV!! PowerDVD filter really works. I could only make it work with mplayer.exe (what I use in sageTV movietimes plugin).

In zoomplayer, the video looks like its 1/2 or 1/4 the resolution. There are no configurable options to fix this problem either. This is only in Overlay mode. In VMR9 it work fine.
