I have approx. 25 ft. of cable to run from my dish 6000 to a sony 32" lcd hdtv model klv32m1.Can I go with rgb cable all the way and use the yprpb connections or would a special cable with rgb on one end and HDMI on the other end be better. I'm looking for as low a priced cable with best quality possible Thanks, and any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Can't do RGB to HDMI with just a cable, one is analog, the other digital. If your receiver has a DVI out and your TV a DVI in, run a HDMI cable and use a DVI to HDMI adapter at one end, that should future proof you for some time.

the dish 6000 only has component out for hd signal.

you should be able to use a regular rgb component cable and be just fine as long as your sony has component inputs.
