But for some reason, I'm amazed that this only seems to be a USA attitude. I just got back from Italy, and like just about everywhere else, there are tons of various type of antennas, hanging off of just about everything. Expensive neighborhoods, apartment blocks: doesn't seem to matter.


Hey, if you want to receive a broadcast signal, you need an antenna of some sort; no getting around this basic engineering fact. For some reason, the USA, a country that's supposed to value private property rights, and dislike socialism. more than any other, is plagued by this no-antenna, not-that-color-paint, no-lawn-ornaments metality that seems socialistic in the extreme.

If they hate antennas...........GET OFF THE PHONE AND DRIVE!!!!!!!!!(There's a WIRED phone waiting for you at HOME!)


(Good story, from an ex-FCC engineer.....almost everyone who was complaining about RF radiation at the Denver "Supertower" hearings, spent most of their time with a transmitting cell-phone against the side of their head.)

I had a woman wreck into me about 4 months ago because of above said items.


Not only was she talking on her cell, she was attempting to get her Ipaq GPS system to work by reading the instructions her company tech support person sent her over her T9 Two Way pager!!!!


It absolutely amazes me what people think they are capable of doing while operating a 2000+ lb deadly weapon.


I get enough guff carying a Glock as my personal defense weapong.. Let's get off the gun control bandwagon and hop on the vehicle control bandwagon.
