Ok, so I posted a thread about black vs silver and it looks like black may be the choice. As I read some of the threads I noticed that the new Fujitsu panels have a new warranty that covers the entire product, including glass, for three years. It looks like the Fujitsu is pretty high priced, but is it worth the extra money if you consider the cost of the warranty? How much is an extended warranty worth if I had to buy it?

Is this supposed to be so complicated or am I just a looney Type A?

I highly doubt you would need to buy one with a Fujitsu, with 3 years covering it. Also, people don't buy Fujitsu for the 3 years of warranty it comes with. They buy it for the picture quality, the processor (one of the best if not the best video processing in the industry) and lastly the 3 years warranty at least "feels" the set is a better quality set as in components and build, some agree some disagree. It is worth it as long as you can afford it, no need for extend warranty.

Ok, so the new models with tuners have a complete 3 year warranty and the previous models had 3 years on the components and 1 year on the glass part. My question is if i bought the older model and bought an additional warranty to cover the glass part, how much would that warranty cost me. As I said, this is new for me so don't get upset if I really sound dopey on this.
