I'd like to replace my Yamaha RX-V1400 with something that does HDMI switching. I'm not an audiophile or videophile, but would like a quality receiver to work with the following:

- Connect to my HDTV display (probably going to upgrade my 5 year old Pannny with a Panny G10)

- Connect my PS3 for gaming and movies

- Connect my Wii

- Connect my iPod

- Output a 2nd zone to my Niles SPS-4 Speaker Selection Switch (mainly to pipe the tuner/iPod to outdoor speakers)

- Connect my DTV HD Receiver

- I have a 5.1 speaker system with a BA sub and AR center/satellites/in ceiling speakers... it's good enough for me)

- It needs to have a self calibration utility to set the audio since I wouldn't have any idea how to calibrate manually.

I've been looking at the Denon AVR-790. Would it do what I want it to? Is it overkill? Is there a better option out there for me?
