I was just looking up what was released in that $10 download, and do my eyes deceive me, I'm seeing GRAW maps in there too??? Also are some of these maps just re-lit versions from GRAW2?


I noticed nobody talking about this, is it because everyone is just ignoring it?

I am not seeing $10 of value in this.....

I doubt many on this forum will spend the $10 for these maps.


I bought them and am very satisfied. Of course, I'm not nearly as worried about making sure a $10 download is enough of a value to keep me from buying it. The maps from the old xbox GRAW are pretty cool. YMMV

The maps, pulled from Ghost Recon 2, GR 2: Summit Strike and the original GRAW, have been completely redone for GRAW 2.

Thats a pretty terrible map pack if you ask me, 3 of those are from GRAW I think.......bleh.

I like it, I know I'll be playing at least 4-5 (waterfall, bonfire, snow levels, etc) of them heavily so it was worth it to me. Granted GRAW 2 is my favorite 360 game.


I do wish they all had missions for them as well though.

Yes, you can clear out enemies together as well as all the options like High Density, medium density, etc. Just no set missions for these maps unfortunately.


Graw 1 released a $15 pack that had maps with missions, but I guess that is why it was more.


edit: without the DL content the game offers a lot to keep you busy. So I wouldn't say that it is mandatory to buy this.

I bought it and I am glad I did. Its nice to be able to play some of the GRAW maps, as well as a bunch of older GR maps that I never played the first time around.

I never had played:


Bonfires, Mountain Base, Mountain Falls, Peninsula and they all are pretty cool to battle against others.


The other three are from this gen.

I sold off GRAW... having the co-op missions would have made this a deal and a half.

Yeah, I sold GRAW (1) and Gears of War as a package for $50.


So now we have 4 maps from GRAW1 on GRAW 2, just better lighting it seems.

I down loaded these maps last night and have not played them yet. GRAW2 is probably one of the best online games out today. The mission is real short but online play is a blast so ten dollars is worth it. The game is very addictive. I play three to four hours every night five nights a week. I highly recommend getting this game and the maps.

I like the new (old) maps.The original GRAW 2 maps were kinda boring.They all started looking the same.
