Sorry for what might be a silly question, but I have a 3 year old HD Tivo for Direct TV. I am getting the FIOS TV today and will have not use for this box. I also have a 4 year old SD Tivo.


The reason I am asking whether they have any value is that I heard that Direct TV is now leasing boxes instead of selling them. Hence, I don't know whether these can even be activated by someone else.

Do you mean the HR10-250's that are all over ebay for ~$200-$500?

Sure seems overpriced for a DVR without firewire out.
