I guess Toshiba omitted that since the HD-A2 is without analogue outs. If there is an adjustment menu I sure can't locate it. I picked up a Pioneer Elite VSX-82TXS-S A/V receiver and of course I have the low sub level problem. I was thinking I could in the players setup just bump up the sub output until Toshiba gets around to fixing this well known issue.

Have you tried altering the bass range (crossover frequency) on your amp or sub it may just be the level that the bass kicks in is different on a DD+ or TrueHD soundtrack!
