To all the front projector folks.


Let's say my min and max mounting pj distance for an 80" wide screen will be 9-14 feet. But I want to mount the pj at the back of the room, 18 feet away. What can I do? Any special lenses that will allow me to mount the pj further from where I'm and suppose to? What have you guys done?


I don't want to mount the pj over the seating area

You ask a question that is feasable, more-so depending on which projector you are going to use. There are long throw lenses available for many projectors, although not all are available like that from the factory.


Let us know which projector you want to use. Also, this is only true for digital projectors, not for CRT's (that I know of at least!)
