Remote that can drive all HT equip from up to 100ft away, through walls, etc... This would essentially solve all my issues...

URC, RTI, Crestron, AMX and such. You will need to use RF and a few antennas possibly


Say you go with URC, you buy a MX900, then add a MRF350 and an extra antenna to gain some distance, then you will have the RF signal from the remote get received by the antenna and send the signal back to the base unit where its converted back to IR and control the devices...VCR, DVD and such


would be similar for RTI and crestron and AMX, although this 3 will need to be bought from a dealer as well as installed and programmed by them
