Since VOOM has not come out with a TIVO type unit yet, is there any way to record HD content onto HTPC from Voom?

To a HTPC? Only with a lot of hassle and about $5000+.

I captured the NBA final games from my HD STB's S-Video out to my ATI AIW 9700pro in 120min. DVD format. The picture looks pretty good.

This is the best I could do from HD.
