I have a pair of older high end speakers Essense Gems. Nice speakers but no info on the back like how many ohms they require. Any way to test?

unless you can find a review on the speakers you may never know


most quotes are nominal value and only some speaker companies publish minimum value

Not to be picky but, speakers do not "require" ohms. Speakers represent a load or impedance that is expressed in ohms.
