Is there such a thing?

I'm turning my desk kind of into a media center. I just purchased a 27" widescreen hd lcd tv with dvi/vga/component inputs. I'm going to be hooking up an external dvd player, hd comcast cable box and my pc. I will be connecting all the video directly to the tv. The problem I'm having is I want to use my 2.1 Cambridge Soundworks to run the audio for every device. I paid alot of money for them and still want to use them.

I am looking for a single product/device that has a few rca audio inputs and a 1/8" mini jack input for the pc sound and a 1/8" mini jack output for the speakers. Similar to a video processor but for audio only. Do they make such a product?

If you guys can think of an easier way please let me know. Thanks Aaron

Sorry, confused - are you using your PC as the audio switcher or do you have a receiver?
I'm sorry...I'm currently using a tv tuner as an audio switcher/volume control. I would still use one if they made one with 3-5 audio inputs.
Hi, Diablos77!

There are many audio switchers around, but they tend to be fairly expensive. If you want a really cheap solution, I'd recommend going with a game audio/video switch. Though they use all RCA jacks, and also include "extra" RCAs for video, you can buy 3-4 port switchers for ~$10 brand new on ebay (search for "game switch"). Just use adapter cables for the RCA->mini jack and mini jack->RCA conversions, and you'll be set.

Cheers!

Hi, Diablos77,

As a couple of examples, here's a 3-port audio/video switch for less than $11 shipped, or here's a 4-port audio/video w/S-Video Switch for $12 shipped.

Have Fun!
