There is no such thing as overkill with bandwidth, horsepower, watts, or speakers. And having the same speakers in the back as in the front makes for some great imaging.

They are not exactly top of the line speakers, but Polk does usually represent a pretty good value for the dollars spent. (BTW - I am biased, but I do feel it is a true statement)

the imaging aspect is what I was thinking by going with 4 of them...thanks for confirming

I'm completely aware there are vastly better speakers out there but not for $130 a pop afaik. I live in a downtown loft and have a pretty small living room so much more isn't really needed.
