There are better choices out there for movies. Having said that... What price range are you looking at?

Thanks for responding. I know I can get a basic 1080i/720p pj for around $200-$300 used. I'm going to be "in between" pj's right now. Can't afford a nice new one yet so just need something for a year or 2. I had an NEC HT1000 that is having problems. The Toshiba is on my local craigslist. There's also this one: Viewsonic PJ 458D Projector for $200.

Wish I could afford more but just can't right now.

Thanks again.

I think for your situation...looking at a stop gap...if your budget is $200ish you probably won't find a large variance in quality for what is out there. While I have no real experience with that Toshiba, as long as your expectations aren't terribly high then it will likely do as well as most anything else in that range.

Thanks for the advice. I agree. Just have to manage my expectations.
