I got the chance to buy a new KRIX KX-4610 twin 18 inch sub ,passive, for a crazy price,my plan is to purchase a DSI 1000 Crown power amplifier bridge it to make 1400 watts and run an RCA cord from the LFE out on my Onkyo PR SC 5508 to the crown, than use the speaker post outputs from the crown to the sub,am I just dreaming and wasted my money
,or would this work ?.if it will work what crossover frequency would be best,80? .It is soley for my dedicated home cinema, not music as well,I think I am screwed so your advice would be GREATLY appreciated, thank you .

You need to get a little crazy with your connectors...

from the amp in this order of cables

The y adapter goes to your receivers LFE out, you will need 2 of each of the other cables. If you can find shorter lengths of cable that would be better.

Yes, you will want to set the crossover from your mains to sub at 80hz.

That is going to be an awesome setup by the way, just make sure you set a 25hz high pass filter on the amp.
