No, I wouldn't buy it:

1) 4:3 aspect ratio instead of 16:9 widescreen

2) No DVI/HDCP or HDMI input

3) Too expensive for such a little screen!

If all you got is $500, then save another 400 and get a nice big 26 or 27" widescreen LCD TV with modern inputs. Sorry, I call 'em like I see 'em.

I'd say that's not too bad of a price for a 17" screen - if you're comparing it to MSRP on some of the other models out there. You can get a 20" Westinghouse LCD for $499 retail - except it's not HD so... it's fairly close to that?

Don't get this....Way to small. And if it is a 16:9 then a 17" is really really small. I agree save your money up and get something bigger and nicer.

I know you can go on ebay and for 550 get a 32 inch LG Monitor. THey looked nice but i decided not to get it becuase i wanted a TV not a monitor.

I DON'T EVEN SEEE A DVI CONNECTION only VGA. DO NOT BUY
