Currently I have a 110” DIY 4” mdf frame wrapped in black velvet screwed to the wall. I’ve used N7 grey paint on the drywall.

The picture and frame are awsome. I've had this setup for the last 3-4 years now. I’m thinking about taking the frame down, patch the wall and build 120” frame 4” poplar wrapped in black velvet.

I’m projecting from about 13’ and I’m sitting about 11’ from the screen.

Do you guys think it is worth the hassle to upgrade to 120” from 110”??? or as my good friend says if it is too small just sit closer to the screen LOL

I think it is worth it especially with 2.35:1 content…

it's worth it. I did a similar upgrade to my screen and it was VERY noticeable

That is a personal thing.. would be way to big for my taste at the seating distance.. so If you feel like it and you want it bigger than It sounds like it will be worth your effort to yourself!
