Guys

Posted this on the processor forum but got no response yet. I fig its more pertinent to CRT users as we are able to run more resolutions at their native rates and therefore are more likely to have a wider variety of res/ref rates programmed..

I have an IScan HD+ scaler. I believe there are four separate user configured display profiles allowing different resolutions/ ref rates etc in the memory. Is there a way to directly access these without cycling through menus? I find it frustrating and challenging to program my remote with macros in order to cycle through the menus to simply change my resolution/ ref rate etc.

Thanks

Steve,

I also own an Iscan HD+ and beleive that the button you are after on the remote 2/3 of the way down in the "Input aspect ratio" area.

The button is the "preset" and believe it cycles through the 4 setups ups you would have saved

Hope this is correct and help

Turns out that is not what I'm looking for. The pre-set button only cycles through aspect ratios. I need to be able to direct access the "Display Profiles." There are four user configurable display profiles. This is only true for the latest firmware version for the HD+. Older firmware had the display profiles disabled.

Problem is that I have to cycle through menus to get to the display profiles since I can not find anything in the instructions stating a remote shortcut. It could be as simple as 2 remote operations say Preset followed by the number 1 to 4 but noooooooo it isn't.

I believe there could be a shortcut that isn't printed in the manual and that is my question.

Yea that button keeps the same output rs and changes the aspect ratio thats it.

I have the HD+ and the only way I know how to do that is go into output set up and physically change the output resolution. As long as my DWIN has a set up memory for the resolution then Im ok I used to have memories for 720p and 1080i but now onyl run 720p so I dont need to switch.

Im not sure about the user profile thing.
