Does anyone tried the ISCAN Pro line doubler to upconvert 480i material on a 42" plasma TV using the RGB connection. I have a DVD progressive scan player therefore I would use it primarily for NTSC or VHS material? I did a quick search on the site but didn't find an answer on this particular application.

Is it worth it? I live in Manhattan and subscribed to TWC DTV. Although there is a great improvement in picture quality, I'm still not satisfied with channels below 100...

Any suggestion appreciate!

I have the Panasonic 42" plasma and have the most recent Iscan (with the component input) and was not impressed. The Iscan does great with interlaced DVD players and the PS2, but can only do so much to clean up a bad cable or satellite signal. Plus, on the 42" screen, you will always be much more aware of any imperfections in the original signal.
