Hopefully, I'm in the right place to ask this, but I'm looking for a recommendation on an ISF tech who's familiar with a Hitachi 51SWX20B. I'm in Colorado Springs, but I would like to know that the tech knows what he/she is doing with my particular set. I'm also looking for someone who will do a thorough job (ie, focus, convergence, fix my red push, blah, blah, blah...).

Thanks!

Roger. I've looked at the list and there are 2 places in town listed. But it doesn't tell me if they are going to do the job correctly.

However, I probably should have told you about the horrible experience I had getting my set fixed. I had a warranty repair for a flickering problem, especially during dark scenes, which only took 8 months to fix! The authorized service center is a joke! They didn't return calls, they took my set for 3 weeks and didn't do anything with it (and returned it without mentioning that fact), and I had to get Hitachi customer service involved just to make anything happen.

So, I would like to hear about recommended ISF techs before I run into the same problem there. I don't want to have to sit there and tell them what they have to do to my set. I would like someone who is professional enough to to the job right the first time. I know it's kind of a silly dream.

I would recommend following that link to Bill Gambrell, he's a pal of mine and is very familiar with the Hitachi's.
