I have the Harmony 1100 and have had it for over a year now.


When trying to launch the software, I keep receiving: Error: Your network connection is not functioning properly.


My Internet is fine, no firewall, and running Windows 7.


When I try updating via the website, I receive: ERROR: Uploading remote control information to web : The information has not been updated to the web site. - The information was not sent.


I tried customer service, totally useless.

I have the same issue. I have tried turning off every popup blocker, snoozing antivirus, disabling firewall. I use CA internet security suite (time warner provides this). I even used wireshark to sniff what the harmonyremote.exe was trying to so via the network. I still can't find the root cause ... it worked 2 months ago.


Did you find out what was wrong?


I'm using http://myremotesetup.com/ which is a logitech site as a workaround. It is not nearly as refined ... pretty kludgy really but it seems to work.
