i recently purchased an onkyo tx-sr607 receiver and tried to hook it up to an infocus x10 projector, i couldnt get any audio or video with the projectors HDMI plugged in but as soon as i unplugged it i had great audio, just wondering if that had to do with HDCP and if there was anything i could do about it

I don't know what your display resolution is but you might try component connections and see if that works - have the HDMI connected also - and switch your receivers video output to HDMI.

I had to do that with an Onkyo SC885 - which is somewhat similar to the AVR lineup.
