My eyeballs are drooping onto the keyboard and words dance like sugarplumb fairies through my aching mind, words like...lumens..LCD..DLP...VB..Rainbow effect...throw distance. Each time I find the "perfect" PJ and I am on the verge the big purchase...here it comes, skipping along like a 3 year old with a lollipop across my computer screen....A NEGATIVE REVIEW!!!! AARRGGHHH, how I want someone to tell me sweet lies about the one single projector that will solve all my movie/HDTV/Xbox fantasies and will never cheat on me with MR. vertical banding or the pool boy El Rainbow Effect. Oh what the heck, I'm gonna buy a Sanyo Z2 please don't stop me...I mean there is no logical reason why I shouldn't buy it, I'll be very happy with my new PJ...what's that you say? New technology the Z3? You're right I should go with a totally different PJ in DLP. Thanks so much, you have no idea how much you've helped me in my quest. So now it's time for more research and maybe if I get time I'll check out a REVIEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *sob*

I have not seen the Z2 myself but many people on this board love it. I have a Sony HS20 (I am the master of the cheap plug) and love it. You will be more than happy with the Z2.

i bought the z1 and that's the one i was set on for about a year. as much as i read i just never changed my mind. well good luck.

You will be happy with the Z2. I just bought one and use it for DVD, HDTV, and XBOX and I love it!!!!! You won't be disappointed. I went through the same thing for about 5 months. Once I bought the projector I thought to myself, "why didnt I buy this earlier?"


Now you have to decide on a screen material!! Arghh!

The projector is just the beginning!


Then the screen, then the room to enhance the viewing, then the seating, then most importantly, the audio including receiver, and speakers and most important of all; having a really good subwoofer! It never never ends. Soon it will be HTPC, then networked HTPC. This hobby never ends.
