I finally got my 1209 ! Hey are these things supposed to be this big!

How am I supposed to paint the case all black, the side pieces don't pop off like my 808.

One good thing , it looks like it will fit nicely on my old 808 ceiling mounts

Now just a few upgrades and tinker tinker tinker and we should have an amazing picture .

I will post my progress, and update my pics once shes a hanging.

the 1209 and 1208 will fit on the Barco OEM mounts - like butter

You can't just remove the sides and paint them like with 808 you need to remove a couple of screws which secures the entire chassis to the case.

These are designated in the serive manual but not in the regular manuals.

You will need to remove the steel chassis completely from the case to repaint the case. It's not very hard though. I think it's secured with 4 or 5 screws.
