Just curious what the masses are switching to or waiting to see what apple actually does with this transition?!?! My main concern is my smart playlists that I have loved so much and hopes that what may be out there to transition to will take those as well as my library.... FWIW I use sonos connects and have a bluesound node 2 that is currently not in use, so either or both of those would still have to be compatible....

Added bonus, any of the replaceable softwares that might be capable of converting my entire music library of low-rez music to a single file type, while keep my HighRez stuff untouched?!?!

TIA

iTunes is not going away. On Mac it's being replaced with a music app that should have all your smart playlists and other features. It's just instead of being one app to do it all, it's split into multiple smaller more focused apps.

On windows, iTunes is staying around.

Thanks Worf! That is good to know. I guess my question can still remain though for anyone who has transitioned away from iTunes....What other music cataloging services have you found to be very robust and useful, especially within the Sonos universe? This thread was spurred by an email from Plex FWIW asking for me to basically transition away from iTunes and start using them instead. It seemed pretty enticing actually with a full library migration right into their own services...
