I need/want a small HD TV; has HDMI input, does HDCP, probably has Component input. Does at least 720p resolution (and probably 1080i as well 1080p not necessary.) I want something reliable because I'll be buying several. Looking to spend around $700 ea. Suggestions? Oh and if this is in the wrong section or a dumb question just flame/bully me and I'll keep looking/comparing

What compares to these two models:

Sharp Aquos LC-26D40U specs

Samsung LN-S2351W specs (opens PDF)

$700 each will get you junk new. I would look for some Sony 26" XBR1's on the used market.

How small??? The Samsung LNS-2351W has both HDMI and component inputs, and goes for only $629 on Amazon.

These are gonna be used at a business, need to be new and reliable. If they were for my personal use I might go with a used one MAYBE but also seeing as how I need several units it might be hard to find a bunch of used ones. Plus I need them pretty soon.


I'm looking at that Samsung right now. I'm also looking at the Aquos LC-26d40u.

I like the Samsung so far but no built in HD tuner ftl, however, it wont be used as a tv at all, just a monitor for other things.

Do you need them all at once? Look on ebay, call some local stores. I'm sure someone has a couple left on the clearence shelf.
