I'm getting this message when I try to test my IVS connection via Lunatic Haven:


Query Failed - Can't connect to rddns-production.replaytv.net:80 (connect: timeout)


I'd been having IVS problems since yesterday and I decided to check. This message seems to indicate the problem is at Replay. How long has this been so? Does this affect Poopli as well?

Seems weekends are the prime time for IVS servers to go down. Then, Monday morning, someone must hit the reset button and everything magically returns to life.


Yes, poopli is affected as well. Typically IVS problems only affect attempts to send and receive. It seems transfers in progress aren't affected. Although, and I can't quite remember the circumstances anymore, I thought a download I was receving once did get affected by the IVS server downtime.

Yes, the RDDNS (IVS) server is down and has been pretty much all weekend. The "crying" smiley" on the IVS Tester is one indicator that IVS is down.


While you can still request shows via Poopli, the sender will not be able to actually send you anything until IVS comes back up. Likewise, though you can mark a requested show as "sent" in Poopli, you won't be able to actually send it until IVS comes back up.
