I got a strange problem yesterday.

I have added a unit # into IVS Address Book, and got a reply that a WRONG unit name has been added.

More info:

I am trying to add my parent's Replay.

I have already setup this Replay several weeks ago on my second Replay and I know the IVS # for sure.

When I add a unit instead of an expected unit name "ABC" I get: "Unit XYZ has been added".

When I test using http://www.lhaven.net/ivstest I also get a wrong unit.

I can stream between my parent's unit and my second unit without problems.

I just can't setup it again.


Have anyone seen this before?

Most likely. I would need the ISN of the unit in question to verify it though.

Potential DUP IVS pool increased by 100!


Thanks to SFHUB, I have pretty much determined that my ISN for IVS is a duplicate. The RDDNS server shows my ISN with a completely different IP and PORT number for forwarding.


I'm still waiting to hear back from SFHUB on the "patch", but for the time being I wanted to claim the new low end number, 00004-54832-32662, which is exactly 100 lower than the previous number!

(I still can't wait to fix my 5040 and start sharing shows, hopefully I will hear back from SFHUB before 2005).
