Im currently using J.River media center to play all my music. I have a large-ish collection of mp3's and some apple lossless. My machine is set-up with two sound cards, one is an nforce2 jobby which i use for games. And the other is a terratec space which i use for films and music (music through ASIO).
My problem is that i have left the default sound card as the nforce card so that games will us it, and the terratec card for any other software that will let me specify the card. When i play MP3's the sound is correctly routed to the terratec card. But for some reason the apple lossless tracks default back to the nforce card.
Im thinking its got something to do with the fact that apple lossless isn't directly supported by J.River, but i thought someone might have an idea how i can re-direct the apple lossless codec?
