I've been looking around and it seems that it's not good to have a square room. Unfortunately, the only room with enough space for what we're looking for, a decent budget HT (that will be upgraded from time to time afterward) is a squarish room. 20X20 with I believe an 9' ceiling.

My question is, what are the downsides to having a square room and would these speakers/sub work well within these confines? (keep in mind, the room isn't intended for audiophiles we're just looking for a good looking movie experience)

The help is appreciated, thanks!

"you go with what you have"....while a square room may cause some acoustic imaging problems, it is certainly no reason to avoid setting up your HT there. The 5 speaker Jamo deal is a very good option and the four towers will allow you some leeway in placement that is independent of furniture, etc.
