Thanks to all the members on this great forum whose advice both directly and indirectly helped me build a fantastic dedicated home theater. I currently have the Japanese Sharp 9000 and 100" Stewart Firehawk. I simply could not be happier with this setup.


I would like to hold a demo/viewing of the Sharp/Firehawk combo for any forum members interested on Saturday May 25th at my home in Prince Frederick, Md. The time can be very flexible. I also would like to invite any person who has a different projector (Marantz, Seleco, Sony) to come and see how amazing the Stewart Firehawk is. Maybe another shootout? We will also be able to critique HDTV via HDNet, HBO HD and Showtime HD.


I have a dedicated 12x 22 room with the new Berkline 099 Series Recliners. Thanks to forum sponsor John Andrews (abigpicture). These chairs are incredibly comfortable and what a bargain. My basement is fully finished with a pool table and bar. I will provide the pizza and beer. Bring your DVD's and your pool cue. PM me for more details and directions.

I've been helping John fish a few wires and hang the projector and I can assure you the image on the Firehawk is AMAZING. I already drove an hour from my home in DC to enjoy Training Day and was bedazzled...


I'm in!


p.s. John not only has an awsome HT setup but has a bar stocked with draft beer to go with it

In a little less than 24 hours I've had four members PM me to say their coming. So far we have an LT 150 and a Sony 11HT to demo on the Firehawk. Sure would like to hear from someone with the new Marantz VP12 or the Seleco HT300.
