I have a TM700. Is anyone using a JOBY tripod with a bracket that mounts from the bottom of the camcorder? I'm assuming the Joby detachable mount's screw isn't long enough to hold the bracket in place as well as connect to the bottom of the camcorder, right?

The bottom of the bracket's screw has threads. The tripod use standard 1/4" screw so I'm sure it fits and long enough to hold the bracket. The "L" shaped is designed for older camcorders with 4:3 LCD screen. When you attached the bracket on your camcorder, you can't open/close your 16:9 LCD screen. This applies to Joby, Sima and any other brands that designed the similar shape bracket.
