Facebook: group to lobby netflix for 3D blu-ray

Join my group and once we have enough members we will organize a day to all call in to lobby Netflix for 3D Blu-ray. If a company like bankrupt Blockbuster carries 3D Blu-ray movies, surely the top subscription rental company should too. Mince we have enough members (haven't decided amount yet) we will all call in on the same day to threaten to cancel our accounts if they don't listen to market demands. I'm all for notions on the most effective line of attack to accomplish our goals but in my mind there is no reason Netlix shouldn't be fufillimg my3D needs. I have a movie budget I spend on Netflix but they have forced me to spend an additional amount of cash to rent from One at a time non subscription sites. There's no reason they can't fufill these needs. If there's not enough demand for 3D movies, they should have a limited supply and stocked only at certain distribution locations. I'd gladly wait another day or two as LNG as Netflix is keeping up with our 3D needs. What do you think?

Netflix has already been cutting back on Blu-Ray titles. No way will they add 3D discs.

The question you should be asking are you willing to pay a preamum of a $1 or too a month (as they did for Blu ray a few years ago) for 3D rentals. The average user of netflix won't want to pay an increased cost for 3D. Your servey is not valid if it isn't posted in a netflex forum not this 3d forum

I agree with the sentiment but instead I went ahead and already quit Netflix. Maybe I could tell them I'd rejoin if they got more stuff I liked, such as 3D.

I subscribe to Blockbuster online video rental and while they do rent Blu-Ray discs (at no extra charge unlike Netflix) I can't find any 3D blu-ray discs to rent from them.

I did however find that there is a new separate rental service that does rent 3D blurays along with regular titles - they don't have a monthly subscription fee, just a per disc rental fee for up to one week rental:
http://stores.3d-blurayrental.com

The per 3D HD Blu-ray rental fee is similar to the fee online streaming HD services such as VUDU and cable systems on-demand charge, typically $5-6.

I have used and enjoy using http://stores.3d-blurayrental.com/StoreFront.bok for 3D movies and I have Netflix (disc plan only) and I've been harassing them for over 2 years to get 3D titles - and you can see how successful I've been..
