Something needs to be done about these Miami courts. Transfer such cases over here to Tampa where the bench tends to have more common sense, or something.
As far as I'm concerned, there is no legal reason why a company, thus its subscribers, should be penalized for trying to obey the law.
On the same token, it is only the bench that made it impossible to subscribe to out of market locals, if I understand correctly. But based on what legislative law or even FCC opinion? None that I know of. Perhaps some obscure reference somewhere?
Well, we can't blame the parties so much whom dropped out of the suit. But I'm on the verge of boycotting the parties who continued the suit. This reeks of blatant greed! and with no concern for the consumer.
