Just saw JP III at a DLP cinema in Vancouver, B.C., Canada.
What a dissapointment.
I don't know if the theatre screwed up, the film was poorly produced or if DLP technology is not capable of enough light output for a large commercial screen. I saw Atlantis on the same screen and it was OK but I wondered how a non-animated film would look.
The picture was dark even in bright scenes. Dark scenes made it very difficult to see detail. It was actually a strain to watch.
Although the film was not very good, I may see it again at a non-DLP theatre to compare.
I would be interested to know if anyone else has seen it on DLP and what your impressions are.
Brian
