Hi all,

As the title indicates I've just bought one of Sony's 1080p televisions, the 32E4000 to be specific & was wondering if anybody else had any experience with these? I'm looking to get some reference settings for me and the wife to watch blu rays in bed etc (its mounted on the wall in the bedroom
just incase anybody is missing that point). I believe the screen is the same as the W series from that year but not sure. Can anybody confirm?

First impressions of it are:

1. Compared with other 1080p televisions that I have seen it handles SD programing very well! Bravia engine?

2. Very sharp with 1080p material ....no motion blur, pretty good colour calibration out of the box.

3. Not worth the extra over the W4000 for the white frame (the misses loves the way it looks but I'm not convinced it is worth an extra £200 notes)

Overall very happy ....its a refurbished model from sonystyle, got it for half price (£500) with a 5 year warrenty. Anything I should know about this model? Experiences, good & bad?

Cheers,

Jiff

Doesn't anybody have one of these televisions? What about a W4000 series Bravia?

Sorry, I don't know what the US equivalent of that TV is since it's a model number that isn't sold here in the States. If it's a W4000 series Bravia, I would suggest searching the threads for the model you think may be closest to yours. Wish I could help.
