I have a full HT setup in the family room with VA Weberns for F/L/C, and Polk dipoles in the back, and an HSU stf-2.
Decided I wanted music in the living room. Wife insisted on "unobtrusive" speakers, like the Bose she saw in the store. [Whaddya gonna do?]
My "living room" is ~12x12, but the dining room is part of the same open space, at another 12x12. Hence the space is ~25x12. Huge amount of space to fill, especially using "unobstrusive" speakers.
The C110s are nice. They sound nice and they blend right in with the white trim. Nothing smaller would have worked. I think I definitely need at least 2 more speakers in the living room, perhaps 4 in the dining room. I'm hoping to go with in-ceiling speakers for the middle 4, another set of C110s on the end side of the dining room.
I really need a subwoofer to fill in the sound, so I'm off to the amp/receiver forum to learn about what equipment I need to setup a second zone.
