I have an Onkyo 605 and VF-35 mains and just picked up the VF-25 center to replace my puny Quintet III center.


Here is what I was running before


Mains - 50hz

Center - 120Hz

Surround 120hz

LFE 80Hz


Question -


Now that I have a decent center channel, should I drop it down to about 60Hz and leave everything else as is? If I wanted to play with delivering a little more bass to the mains, what would be the best method in doing so?


Thanks for the advice. Looking for some expert opinions so I don't blow speakers. ;-)

Why not just use the Audyssey automatic speaker setup the receiver came with?

I did. It sets them to Full-Band, Dynamic tho.

Can anyone tell me if the following is optimal?


Mains - 50hz

Center - 60Hz

Surround 120hz (Quintets)

LFE 80Hz

I set mine just above the rolloff, whatever that is.....
