Just ordered a 83" c1 from videoonly

Got it for $4700 but now I'm second guessing my purchase. Are they selling me a b- grade panel or something the price seems to good?

I ordered my 65 c8 from them a few years ago and it's got some gray uniformity issues.

Also thinking about canceling my order and saving $2300 and getting a vizio pqx 85. Coming from a oled do you think I will be disappointed in the vizio? I'm upgrading for the size and 4k120 vrr which my c8 lacks.

Thanks for any options.

You won’t necessarily get a bad panel doing this but you risk support if you do. Cleveland Plasma could probably offer a similar price and Chris is really good with support. I’d recommend that if you are worried but still don’t want to pay MSRP.

Video Only isn't selling any "b- grade panels", and as new as the C1 83" is, I doubt any B- panels exist anywhere. The c1 you order there would be no different than one ordered at Best Buy, it's fresh off the ship from South Korea.
As for the Vizio, to each his own. If you are used to the picture on your c8, I would think the Vizio would be a major downgrade, but that's just my opinion.

U will be very happy with the 85 PQX if u decide to go that route!
Definitely would be severely disappointed going from an OLED to a ViZion LCD.

I'm not familiar with video only, but as long as you can return it, you have nothing to lose.

Has the price already dropped this low? Everywhere I look, the cost is roughly 5999 msrp.
To slightly expand on and rehash what others have said, Video Only is one of several places (most of the others are online/phone, however) that can sell it below the advertised MSRP that places like Best Buy cannot go below. Even though you are paying closer to the wholesale price, you are getting the same panel as everyone else. You are entering the same "panel lottery" in terms of uniformity as everyone else. You're buying from a local store, so you have easy returns. The price for LG to make an 83" panel is only a few hundred more than a 65" panel, but they mark them up a lot more (i.e., there is a higher profit margin on the larger TVs even after you account for the bigger box to ship and handle). Thus, the wholesale discount is much larger for these bigger sizes. Regarding this or a cheaper Vizio, that's up to you. Some would say you should stay with OLED since you've already experienced it, but there's a lot you can do with the $2300 price difference... but if money isn't a huge factor, stick with big quality OLED over big but lower quality Vizio. There are also the usual bright room LED vs. dark room OLED considerations that have been discussed endlessly. Viewing angles are also better for OLED, etc.

This bodes very well for sub-$4000 pricing on the 83C1 by Black Friday…

Do they have an online shop, or are you local to one of their stores?

It's a chain of TV shops on the West coast. They only deliver locally.

I forgot to mention they included a 5 year warranty and delivery for free, but that is fairly typical of them.

I always buy from them. 77" c1 for $3100 a week before release. You pay $110 for the 5 year warranty so you can get a replacement. I don't think they do returns which is why everything can be priced low.

Will they ship across the country if shipping is paid by the buyer?
I'm on the East Coast.

They do returns but only for store credit if you opened the box.

I got my 77 A80J from my local Video Only, $3075 plus tax including extended warranty. The set is legit, doesn't appear to be a fake or b-grade.

I settled on the 83" c1 I'll update when I get it, should be in this Monday if not Wednesday. I'm pretty jazzed to have a big screen again been down grading size wise for the last few years, from a 98" ALR screen and a epson projector to a 75" Sony x940e to the current 65" c1 the 83" hopefully will amaz my eyeballs.
