Hi. I recently bought a JVC 40K, which I would like to use with my Sony HS-20 projector. But I've run into a funny problem. Attached to my Hitachi rear projection set it works flawlessly, but when I attach it to the projector I get the message "Calibrating - please wait". Which appears to be a tape calibration message. However, I've narrowed down the problem to component cable length. That is, component cables of 6' or less and the unit is happy and plays any tape just fine. But if I use the 15' component cable going from the projector, through my ceiling, and over to the system components shelving - no go.

Suggestions? Do I need the 5U in order to run a long HDMI cable? --M
