JVC 56FH-96 HDMI frozen bad image after changing inputs

So I just received my JVC 56FH-96 and had the following issue:


When I first was using the TV and flipped from my cable HDMI to another input then went back to the HDMI input, sometimes the screen came back as a frozen jibberish image, like scrambled cable, locked, even though the cable box/sound was great and changed channels fine.


Nothing I did (changing the cable box channel, turning it on/off effected the frozed image. Even with the cable box off it was still there. Then I put the HDMI in input 2, and the image was there, even though the cable box wasn't on.


This seems to be some general issue with the HDMI controller, even though I can't get it to reproduce, it only happened twice before.


Powering off/on the TV and box seemed to fix it... any other thoughts?
