Are the prisms from surplus shed too small for a jvc d-ila? I have some prisms I bought and also a lumagen radiance for stretching. I will buy a new lens eventually but what to know if this will work for the time being?

There are a lot of factors involved, but I'm gonna guess that no, those won't work with the 250 as I remember them being quite small.

They are small so the OP will need to keep his TR over 2.1:1.

Do you think I can get it to work with 14 feet distance or closer to screen and I want a 108" wide cinescope. I know it is small but that is what my room allows at this point!!!

14' / (108" x 0.75) = TR of 2.07:1

Also because the chip set is 0.65(?) for DiLA, you should be OK. It would be a different story if the projector was using a larger 0.9" DLP chip.

This should work, but it will be tight.
