JVC Es1sl distorts after 1h40mins

As the subject indicactes, I have a JVC digital receiver. It performs perfectly, actually really good sound for such a cheap little thing...but after 1 hour and 40 mins the right front and right rear surround channels turn to distortion.

Does anyone have any ideas of what this could be??
