Hi, when I output a signal from my computer into my projector, I always get regularly spaced vertical bands of fuzziness in the picture. It doesn't matter what the refresh rate is or what the resolution is. I've tried playing with the phase and, uh, the other setting, and while they move the fuzzies around and resize them to some extent, I can't make them go away.

Does this problem ring a bell with anyone?

Thanks!

Ron

You may be seeing the "8 bar" problem or it may simply be your tracking or phase.

Find the topic "Pixel Perfection" and use Mark Rejhon's desktop image to adjust the tracking and phase.

Ronald,

Try disconnecting (or turning off) the source video so you get the background color. Are the vertical lines still there?

If so, it's a problem with the 8 drivers in the D-ILA panels (AKA "Eight Bar"). If it goes away, it's probably Tracking, as Kirk mentioned.
