JVC HD2K- 5V power on DVI pin 14???

My Uncle is building a new HT around the JVC HD2K projector, and is planning to use optical DVI cables. The ones he wants to use have the integrated power supply that gets voltage from pin 14 on the DVI connector. I guess the JVC has the powered pin, but I thought I would find out for sure. Does anyone know?

I am using that projector with the Dtronics optical cable, so yes it must have the +5v power on the connector.
