I'm building my HT around a BarcoGraphics-808, so I several months ago I had my 10 year-old JVC NV-55BX4 widescreen rptv to my neighbor.
Well, as luck would have it, the JVC just now started displaying a "pinkish-red" tint to the picture. The convergence crosshairs show that the red/green/blue CRT's seem to be OK. When I run the tint levels up & down, not much changes.
On a color bar pattern, the cyan & blue are both a solid dark blue, and the red & pink are both orange, and white is pink. I have the service manual for the unit and had found a JVC parts website with limited module availability. The power supply board had gone out just before I sold it and the new board fixed the problem just fine.
Any thoughts about where to start looking & possibly parts available?
Thanks!
