New customer. Installed JVC DlA RS57U with RTI XP-8s controlling.

Motorized Panamorph lens.

Seem to be having an issue with the Anamorphic A, Anamorphic B and Anamorphic Off RS232 commands. Anybody else out there find that they are any different than the released strings for the,30, 40, 50 etc?

Also an odd effect: With the RS232 connected, the handheld factory remote won't work.

Thinking there may be some kind of interference with the connection.

Anybody else?


Otherwise FANTASTIC picture quality. Even with mediochre signal from Comcast..

Have you tried TCP/IP connection? I am about to setup my RS57U with XP8 but via ethernet.

Install the new firmware. It adresses issues with commands via rs232.
